Itinerary

Day 1 – Start of Tour in Rome

Meet your tour leader and fellow travellers at your Rome hotel before setting off on a walking tour of the Eternal City. Stand in awe of the Spanish Steps and toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain. Later, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2 – Rome – Orvieto – Venice

Orvieto & Venice (B)

Travel through the beautiful Umbria region to Orvieto, dramatically perched atop a sheer volcanic rock. Take the funicular into the historic centre and enjoy free time to explore before continuing to Venice.

Arrive in Venice and enjoy a free evening or join an optional water taxi cruise through the city’s twinkling canals.

Day 3 – Venice Free Day

Venice (B)

Enjoy a full free day to explore the magical floating city of Venice at your own pace. Experience the city from its waterways on an optional gondola ride, or venture further into the lagoon on an optional excursion to Murano and Burano, colourful islands famous for their local crafts.

Day 4 – Lake Garda – Florence – Tuscany

Lake Garda, Florence & Tuscany (BD)

En route to Florence, stop at Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake. Continue to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, where a local guide will introduce you to the city’s highlights before you enjoy some free time to explore.

Later, enjoy a group dinner in Florence before travelling to your hotel in Montecatini, a charming Tuscan spa town.

Day 5 – Cinque Terre – Pisa – Tuscany

Day 6 – San Gimignano – Siena – Rome

Before returning to Rome, visit two of Tuscany’s most fascinating towns. Explore medieval San Gimignano, famous for its distinctive tower houses, and enjoy a taste of local Tuscan wines.

Continue to Siena, a UNESCO-listed city renowned for its beautiful architecture and the famous Palio horse race held twice a year. Finally, travel back to Rome and enjoy a farewell group dinner.

Day 7 – End of Tour in Rome
