Over 12 days this tour of North India reveals a number of its most famous sights and fairy-tale-like palaces. Exclusively designed for solo travellers who love travelling with likeminded people but like the comfort of having own private accommodation.
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
On arrival THO Tour Manager will welcome us at the airport arrival lounge and transfer to the airport for two nights stay.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing B D. Enjoy breakfast and an introduction to the tour before starting full day sightseeing of Old and New Delhi. Visit Qutb Minar, India Gate, Gandhi Memorial, Bangla Sahib Temple and Spice Market in Old Delhi followed by rickshaw ride.
Day 3: Delhi – Agra B D. After leisurely breakfast travel to Agra, home to India’s most famous landmark, the Taj Mahal. A poem of white marble, the Taj is described as the most extravagant
monument ever built for love. Evening relax or enjoy various optional activities.
Stay two nights.
Day 4: Agra B D. Early morning visit Taj Mahal, the epitome of love, built in the 17th century by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan. After breakfast visit Agra Fort followed by Itimad-Ud-Daulah
Tomb also known as the Baby Taj.
Day 5: Agra – Bharatpur B D. Travel to Bharatpur, famous for Keoladeo Ghana National Park, en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Late afternoon enjoy a rickshaw ride through Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a 29sq km UNESCO World Heritage Site, is arguably India’s most spectacular bird sanctuary. Stay overnight in Bharatpur.
Day 6: Bharatpur – Jaipur B D. After breakfast travel to Jaipur, en-route visit Abhaneri Stepwell and experience with block printing in jaipur. Evening free to relax and stay two nights.
Day 7: Jaipur B D. Start full-day sightseeing tour with an excursion to the majestic Amber Fort, en-route photo stop at Hawa Mahal. Later visit City Palace Museum; boasts to have some of the priceless collections and Jantar Mantar; one of the famed observatories. Late afternoon women will have Heena painting and men will learn the art of Rajasthani Turban tying.
Day 8: Jaipur – Jodhpur B D. Today you will experience the feeling of travelling back in time with a journey to Jodhpur, while you catch a glimpse of the splendour and magnificence of this
ancient desert city built on the edge of the Thar Desert. Afternoon free explore bazar and find souvenirs.
Day 9: Jodhpur B D. Visit to Mehrangarh Fort built by Rao Jodha in 1459; one of the largest forts in India. Afternoon free to relax of explore local bazaar.
Day 10: Jodhpur – Udaipur B D. Morning after breakfast check out of the hotel and travel towards the lake city Udaipur, En-route pass lush green valleys, streams and heart capturing views before visiting Ranakpur, with intricately carved marble Pillars and Domes. Tucked away in a remote valley in the Aravalli ranges, it boasts of one of the largest and most important Jain Temples in the country.
Stay two nights at Udaipur.
Day 11: Udaipur B D. Start a day with walking tour of Trible Village to experience lifestyle of locals. Later visit City Palace one of the most famous architectural marvels of the city and Crystal Gallery and conclude your day with boat ride on Lake Pichola.
Day 12: Udaipur Departure B. After breakfast tour finish with direct transfer to Udaipur airport to board flight for onward destination.
