Zurich Geschnetzeltes is usually eaten with noodles. Overnight in Zurich.

Past the Swiss capital and into fairytales

On the second day of your Switzerland culinary tour you will drive from Zurich to Bern (approx. 125km) and then on to Interlaken (approx. 60km). After arriving in the Swiss capital Bern, discover the old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the arcades, at six km long; they are one of the longest weather-sheltered shopping promenades in Europe. LOCAL SPECIALITY: Bern is famous for its wholesome Berner Platte – a sumptuous dish containing a variety of meat and sausages such as beef, smoked pork and beef tongue.
