(home of the Vietnam Masters Asian Tour events)
Located just 17 kilometers from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Golf & Country Club is one the nearest golf clubs to the city center. Vietnam Golf & Country Club is set amongst 300 hectares of land and is comprised of two championship golf courses. Bothe courses have been carved out of existing woodlands with minimal land movement. Golfers at Vietnam Golf & Country Club get the feeling that the land was destined to be a golf course, so natural is the lay-out and design. Open since November 1995, the 7,106-yard West Course at Vietnam Golf & Country Club features narrow tree-lined fairways and fast level greens. Designer: Chen King Shih / Lee Trevino Established: 1994 Location: 35 minutes from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip - 18 holes par 71 (6855 yards)
(exciting links style Greg Norman course)
The Greg Norman designed Bluffs Ho Tram Strip golf course is located 80 kilometers southeast of Ho Chi Minh City in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province on the southern Vietnamese coastline. It takes around 2 hours to reach by a mix of highway and local roads from Ho Chi Minh City. The Bluffs Ho Tram is a unique links style par-71 golf course on a rugged site often accompanied by strong onshore breezes. In fact, the Bluffs Ho Tram Strip has some of the best geographical traits for a top golf course layout. For example, the whole site sits on a coastal plateau with 50 meter elevation changes from the highest to lowest point and holes are routed among towering seaside sand dunes. Designer: Greg Norman Established: 2014 Location: 2 hours from Saigon.

Montgomerie Links Vietnam - 18 holes, par 72 (7090 yards)
(excellent Colin Montgomerie design)

The course has been rated as one of Asia’s ten most elite courses by the 2012 Forbes Travel Guide as well as most recently has been voted as "Vietnam's Best Championship Course 2013" by the Vietnam Golf Magazine. Nearby Hoi An, known for being a UNESCO World Heritage site, also has an amazing beachscape, which makes the perfect palette for this links-style course. Moving boldly over a striking landscape of wispy casuarinas, pines and sand dunes The Montgomerie Links Vietnam gives golfers the feeling of being in Ireland or Scotland without the cold temperatures of the British Isles! The first golf course in central Vietnam it takes advantage of its close proximity to both the Vietnam East Sea and the Marble Mountains; the later are visible from many points on the course. Designer: Colin Montgomerie Established: 2008 Location: Between Danang and Hoi An.

Laguna Lang Co Golf Club - 18 holes par 71 (6958 yards)

Danang Golf Club, Dunes Course - 18 holes par 72 (7142 yards)
(great links golf in SE Asia)
The Danang Golf Club opened in 2010 and immediately leapt to fame being recognized as one of the 15 best new courses in the world by USA GOLF magazine. Danang Golf Club has been awarded a number of awards, amongst them the 2011, 2012, 2013 best golf course in Asia by the readers of Asian Golf Monthly as well as the 2012 Best Golf Course in Vietnam by USA Golf Digest and the 2014 IAGTO Diamond Award. The Dunes Course is built on the sandy loam soil of Danang Beach, a place where history is revered as much as golf. The Vietnam golf club is located directly on the beach that the American’s used for their first landing and adjacent to the American’s main supply depot and airfield used during the conflict of the 1960’s. Here, along Vietnam’s golf coast and amid a seaside landscape almost identical to what the world’s first courses were carved from, an experience was crafted as much by Mother Nature as it was by the legendary Great White Shark, Greg Norman. In other words, it’s links-style golf in the truest sense of the term. Designer: Greg Norman Established: 2010 Location: On Danang Beach, halfway between Danang and Hoi An, Central Vietnam.

Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club - 18 holes par 72 (7114 yards)
(well-maintained layout with wide fairways)
The Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club (formerly Siem reap Lake Golf Resort) was the third international standard golf course to be opened in Angkor Wat. The course was designed by Kentaro Sato, the well-known Japanese golf course designer. No expense has been spared making the Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club the largest Angkor Wat golf complex. Several high profile local tournaments have been held at the course including visits by dignitaries such as the Cambodian prime minister. Luxury villas surround the course and although unoccupied, each is a sight to behold in its own right. Designer: Kentaro Sato Established: 2009 Location: 20 minutes south of Siem Reap.

The Angkor Golf Resort brings Cambodia squarely onto international golf destination map. Tess, fairways, and greens are all maintained as what you would expect from a Faldo designed and IMG managed golf course. The latest Paspalum turf insures excellent year-round playing conditions.
